Raptor Resins, formerly the resin division of Fibraplex Corp, was spun out in January 2008 to develop and market bismaleimide resins as an independent business unit. The company is located in the Dale Hollow Lake region of north central Tennessee with goals of reaching international markets. 

Raptor's formulations of BMI resin are an improvement over current aerospace materials because of better cure temperatures at an significantly better price per pound.
